Your photo won’t directly contribute to your All Star status. LinkedIn uses algorithms to determine whether or not someone meets the profile requirements. This doesn’t mean that you can get away with posting a funny picture about a cat and a 
cheeseburger. You need to try and use a picture that shows you as a professional. Dress up in a suit, and take a head shot. The skill section is where you add information about your abilities. Take the recycling manager example; you could list the different types of computer software you used to monitor waste.
